Destroy covercrops without working soil The FACA Roller is used to put down and damage cover-crops in order to make it decay. It is important to have the right settings to hurt plants but leave the soil intact so weeds won’t germinate. It is possible to increase the roller’s agressiveness by increasing its weight, filling it with water or add ballast. It is equipped with 10 chevron-blades 100x10mm on a 607 mm diameter roller. At Ferme de la Conillais, we have sowed different covercrops for testing sensitivity of various species to FACA Roller. Here are some covercrops that do not resist rolling.
