Extending rotations, introducing new species and adapting technical itineraries are becoming essential, particularly for spring crops. Even historical standards are changing: corn with 75 cm row spacing is gradually giving way to spacing of 60 or even 50 cm, to optimize density or promote soil cover. In this changing context, a rigid, fixed seeder becomes a hindrance. It’s time to have a seeder that adapts to you – not the other way around.

A complete range from 6 to 12 rows

Available in telescopic (6 to 9 rows) and folding (8 to 12 rows) versions, the SONIC incorporates the RowMotion function as standard. It is also possible to hydraulically raise certain elements to sow only a partial number of rows.

With RowMotion, change row spacing without changing seed drill

With the RowMotion system, row spacing can be adjusted in less than 15 minutes, without the need for tools. This flexibility is made possible by an intelligent sliding system on chassis and quick-locking system. Where other seed drills require more than an hour's intervention, sometimes with complete dismantling of the elements, you save time, precision and real technical freedom. Adapting the row spacing to the crop or conditions is no longer a constraint, but an asset.

Pressure where it really counts!

In addition to hydraulic pressurization (up to 350 kg per element), a load-transfer cylinder makes it possible to transfer more than a ton of effort from the tractor to the seed drill. Connected to the tractor arms, it acts directly on all the elements via the cylinders, without electronic regulation. This simple, adjustable device ensures uniform pressure even in difficult conditions: dry soils, direct seeding or heavy residues. Result: constant penetration, for even sowing and optimum emergence.

A clean furrow, even in difficult conditions

To ensure clean, undisturbed sowing, we offer a parallelogram-mounted rotary debris catcher.

This system perfectly follows the relief of the soil and cleans the furrow of plant debris and stones, without generating vibrations on the seeding unit. This is a major advantage when seeding quickly, or in difficult working conditions. Where some competitors don't offer one, or use inefficient fixed models, our solution ensures optimum furrow quality, an essential condition for even emergence.

Great versatility

With the SONIC seed drill, you can choose between a 1400-liter fertilizer hopper integrated into the chassis or a SKY Agriculture front-mounted hopper. The Progress TF ticks all the boxes for high-performance seeding: optimum weight balance, excellent visibility from the cab and easy access for filling. Compatible with tractors and ISOBUS consoles!

The SONIC seed drill comes with ISOBUS as standard, and features UT, TC-SC (automatic section cutting), TC-GEO (dose modulation) and AUX-N (joystick compatibility). Section cutting is a major asset for limiting oversowing and optimizing efficiency. Modulation is available for the most advanced applications. See compatibility table.
