SKY Agriculture has taken a further step in its commitment to high-performance, sustainable agriculture with the launch of the SONICThis latest-generation precision seeder is designed to meet the most demanding precision seeding requirements. The result of several years’ development, SONIC embodies the perfect blend of technology, agronomy and adaptability.

Unrivalled seeding precision, even at high speed

Equipped with Precision Plantingtechnology, the SONIC guarantees seed placement accuracy of over 99%, even at speeds of over 12 km/h. Its perfectly controlled vacuum system ensures optimum seed positioning, with no bounce or projection, even for the lightest species such as rapeseed, sunflower or beet.

The retractable press wheel, which can be adjusted to suit specific conditions (particularly in wet soil), provides additional flexibility of use.

Thanks to hydraulic pressure of up to 350 kg per seeding unit, stability and penetration are optimized, even in difficult conditions. An optional system also enables the load to be transferred from the tractor, guaranteeing efficiency on all types of soil.

Unparalleled agronomic versatility

With SONICIt’s the seeder that adapts to your crops, not the other way round. Featuring exclusive RowMotionIt allows you to modify the row spacing directly in the field. Sowing corn at 75 cm in the morning and soybeans at 50 cm in the afternoon becomes a simple formality, with no need to dismantle elements. This flexibility opens the way to tailor-made technical itineraries and diversified crop rotation, adapted to more resilient farming systems.

Another innovation is the reduced angle of the double discs (9° as opposed to the usual 12°) limits soil disturbance, helping to reduce weed emergence and preserve spring moisture: two essential levers for supporting the agro-ecological transition.
